Working Together
Aboriginal cultures encourage a holistic healing approach that focuses on physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. Fraser Valley Aboriginal Children and Family Services Society (FVACFSS) uses this approach to assist individuals and families to bring about positive growth in their lives.
We work collaboratively with families and communities to develop strategies in problem-solving, life skills, conflict resolution, and to develop or enhance parenting skills. FVACFSS facilitates and makes appropriate referrals to other services families may require.
PROGRAMS
Your Support
Our programs are there to support children and their families in times of need and give them the tools and support they need for success. All programs are created with a cultural view in mind to reinforce and reconnect Aboriginal culture.
EVENTS
Connecting Culture
We regularly hold events for children, families, and caregivers.
While exciting and fun, our events always hold cultural relevance and are aimed at creating a deeper connection with each child and family’s self and cultural identity.

Your Responsibility
Under B.C. law you have a duty to report your concerns if you have reason to believe a child has been, or is likely to be, abused or neglected. “Reason to believe” means that, based on what you have seen, or information you have, you believe a child could be at risk.
